Other Counties

Nearly all Massachusetts counties showed a significant upward trend in daily case counts during the month of July.

Notes:
Massachusetts embarked on Phase 1 of the Baker-Polito plan for “reopening the economy” on May 18th, Phase 2 on June 8th and June 22th, and Phase 3 on July 6th, which are highlighted on the charts by vertical yellow bars.
All data in the charts below come from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health at https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-response-reporting. Specifically, the numbers were derived from the July 30th raw data file named “County.csv.”
The Department of Public Health began reporting raw data for county-specific COVID-19 daily case counts on April 17th, which explains the starting date for all the charts below. An additional week was needed to accommodate averaging over 7 days.
